The Four Risk Levels
The EU AI Act establishes a risk-based classification system for AI applications. High-Risk Classification Criteria
An AI system is classified as high-risk if it falls within specific use-case categories defined in Annex III of the Act, or if it is a safety component of a product covered by existing EU harmonization legislation.
